Quarterra Multifamily has announced the opening of its latest mixed-use apartment community, Cormac Apartments, situated in Charleston’s upper peninsula, South Carolina. The development project was a joint venture between Quarterra Multifamily and Cresset Partners, with the funding provided by the Cresset Diversified Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) Fund I. The prime location of Cormac Apartments, positioned at 1310 Meeting Street Road, connects residents effortlessly to nearby destinations like Downtown, North Charleston, and Mt. Pleasant, while the proximity to Interstate 26 and Ravenel Bridge offers easy access to employment centers in the area. The community is also in close proximity to local attractions like The Wonderer, Pacific Box & Crate, and The Refinery.

Quarterra’s Cormac Apartments consist of 303 apartment homes with Nest smart thermostats, keyless entry, and stainless-steel Whirlpool appliances. The property offers studio, one and two-bedroom apartments with two distinct design schemes, featuring custom cabinetry, quartz or granite countertops, hardwood-inspired flooring, and pendant lighting. Kitchens include tile backsplashes and under-cabinet lighting, and baths have oversized tubs or walk-in showers with full tile surrounds. The apartment community has a 13,068 square foot retail component, and two public ground-level courtyards.
