The NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars have inaugurated the Miller Electric Center, a state-of-the-art training facility spanning 124,767 square feet in Jacksonville, Florida. A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the completion of the project, with the attendance of Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan. Valued at around $120 million, the center is a collaboration between the Jaguars and the city of Jacksonville.

With the construction of the Miller Electric Center finished, the Jaguars can now relocate their training and administrative operations from the TIAA Bank Field. This move is necessary to allow for renovations to take place at TIAA Bank Field. Jaguars President Mark Lamping sees the practice facility as the first step towards building a stadium of the future.

The Miller Electric Center was built on an 18-acre property located northwest of TIAA Bank Field. Recently, the Jaguars provided a tour of the facility to the media and guests, showcasing its state-of-the-art amenities. The training center includes a 96,113-square-foot indoor practice field and two outdoor fields spanning 4.1 acres. Additionally, the facility offers a 23,563-square-foot fan amenity area with a pro shop.

Number of Seats at the Miller Electric Center

The Miller Electric Center can accommodate 2,090 seats, all of which are fully shaded with nine overhead fans. The venue also features an overhead speaker system and two permanent concession stands. Furthermore, players have access to a 5,000-square-foot dining hall and a team meeting room with auditorium theater seating. The property also provides a weight room, rehabilitation and recovery room, and public art installations by local and nationally recognized artists.

The Miller Electric Center was named after Miller Electric Co., which secured the naming rights through an agreement with the Jaguars and the city. Haskell, a construction management company, oversaw the project’s construction. The architectural designs were handled by Rossetti, a firm based in Detroit. Miller Electric was responsible for the audiovisual and security installations, as well as the electrical wiring technology for the project.
