The city of Walker, Michigan has given its approval for the construction of a new Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel. Located at 2365 Northridge Drive NW, near I-96, the hotel will be situated on the northeastern corner of Walker Avenue and Northridge Drive.
The Walker Planning Commission approved the hotel’s plans on July 5. With a size of 20,877 square feet, the four-story hotel will accommodate 103 guest rooms. The construction will take place on an 11-acre tract of land, with a stormwater drainage basin being developed on the southern half of the property.

According to Patel, the Homewood Suites by Hilton is an “upper-tier extended stay” hotel that will provide meeting spaces, an indoor pool, and fitness centers for its guests.
