Fisher Brothers, a renowned real estate developer, has broken ground on a new project in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. Known as Wynhouse Miami, this 8-story mixed-use development will bring a fresh perspective to the area, blending residential units and retail spaces. The project has received substantial financing, with $117.5 million secured from JP Morgan Chase and affiliates of Canyon Partners.
The location of Wynhouse Miami is 2200 NW First Ave, strategically placed to embrace the vibrant culture and history of Wynwood. Nichols Architects, the project’s architect, crafted a design that reflects the neighborhood’s rich street art scene and interconnected alleyways. To enhance the pedestrian experience and improve connectivity, the architect incorporated two public passageways, called paseos, into the design. The building’s facade and paseos will also feature public art, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal.
Development Plans for Wynhouse Miami
Wynhouse Miami will offer a variety of residential options, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as select penthouse units. The sizes of these units will range from 474 to 1,405 square feet. On the ground floor of the building, a retail component covering 26,000 square feet will provide convenient shopping options for residents.
In terms of amenities, Wynhouse Miami will impress with its extensive offerings. The development will feature a fitness center, spa, grilling area, outdoor entertainment space, expo kitchen, and a multi-story courtyard. There will also be co-working spaces, entertainment and creative lounges, and a second-story lawn area for residents to enjoy. A rooftop pool area will offer breathtaking views of Downtown Miami.
The anticipated completion date for the Wynhouse Miami project is January 2025. Construction will be handled by Suffolk Construction, a reputable general contractor, while Witkin Hults + Partners will serve as the landscape architect. Langan Engineering will oversee the civil, geotechnical, environmental, and traffic engineering aspects of the project.
