A new luxury mid-rise rental housing project called the Henri community is currently being developed in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Toll Brothers Apartment Living, a rental division of Toll Brothers, has partnered with EJF Capital to bring this project to life. The developers have also secured a $65 million construction loan facility to cover the development costs.

Toll Brothers and EJF Capital Partnership

Toll Brothers Apartment Living’s President, John McCullough, expressed excitement about working with EJF Capital once again to build the Henri community. Toll Brothers is already renowned for its quality, luxury apartments and services in downtown Phoenix. This partnership aims to create another exceptional residential haven in the heart of Phoenix, maintaining the same high standards.

Number of Units at the Henri Community

The Henri community will consist of a seven-story building with a total of 313 apartment units. These units will include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. The interiors will feature intuitive design and spacious open floor plans. Residents will enjoy amenities such as custom kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, Moen plumbing finishes, and quartz kitchen countertops. The units will also be furnished with bathroom counters, wood-style flooring, and innovative smart home features, including keyless locks. Construction began in July, and the developers anticipate completing the first residency by 2025.

Amenities at the Henri Community

The Henri community will offer over 36,000 square feet of shared indoor and outdoor amenities. These include a resident lounge, chef demonstration kitchen, dining spaces, fitness center, and collaborative coworking spaces. Residents will also have access to a club and game room, listening lounge, and studio-inspired creator booths. Additionally, there will be a library and study room, bar, resort-style pool, courtyard, sun lounge, rooftop deck, and pet-friendly amenities.

Toll Brothers’ Multifamily Developments in Phoenix

The Henri community is not Toll Brothers’ first venture in the Phoenix market. The company has already built three other multifamily developments in the area. These include Callia, a 403-unit apartment community, and Haverly, a 323-unit apartment community, both located in Midtown Phoenix. Both projects were opened in 2022.
