Rawlinson Stadium, named after philanthropist Joseph Rawlinson, is set to be constructed later this year as an addition to Soni McAlister Field. The stadium will be located at 3000 S. Hoover Street in Los Angeles and will have a natural grass pitch, up to 2,500 seats for spectators, viewing decks, a press box, a box office, concession kiosks, and an entry plaza. The estimated cost of the project is $38 million.

Rawlinson Stadium will not only provide a new home for the soccer and lacrosse teams, but it will also include team conference rooms, a sports medicine area, a nutrition fuelling bar, and a meeting space for coaches. Additionally, the stadium will have dedicated locker rooms for the soccer and lacrosse teams.

Future plans for the stadium include stadium lights, an audio system, and an LED video board that will be visible from the pitch. Across Hoover Street from Rawlinson Stadium, the $700 million USC Village project will also be constructed, with groundbreaking commencing this year and completion scheduled for 2025.

The current Soni McAlister Field, which has been operational since 1998, can accommodate approximately 1,000 spectators. The women’s lacrosse team at USC has participated in five NCAA tournaments, while the women’s soccer team has won two national titles.
