The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has recently celebrated the opening of a UAMS Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. The hospital, which covers 158,000 square feet, broke ground in 2021 and has been approved by the UAMS Board of Trustees with an $85 bond issue.
The new hospital is designed to provide state-of-the-art spine care, orthopaedic surgery, and pain management for patients across Arkansas. It will work in complement with off-campus orthopaedic clinics in Little Rock, rather than replace them.
